Overview
There are five academic departments such as Economics, Social work, Computer Science, Mathematics and International Relations functioning in the Tejaswini Hills Campus. THC library started functioning in November 2013 and is holding the resources pertaining to these departments to provide services to all the faculty members, students, and staff of the University apart from the general collection. THC Library subscribing to various general magazines, periodicals and daily newspapers. Library also has full text access to more than 8000 peer reviewed journals and databases through UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium provided by INFLIBENT Centre.
Mission and Vision
The primary mission of the library is to support and full fill the educational and research requirements of the faculty, staff, students and research scholars of the CUK community. And also to provide access to the available information resources such as books, full text journals and databases in a state of the art ICT enabled environment along with most effective information retrieval tools. Library looks forward to develop a comprehensive collection of documents and databases to support the scholarly and informational needs of the user community.
Working Hours
Tejaswini Hills Campus Library remains open from 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM from Monday to Friday and 9.30 AM to 3.30 PM on all Saturdays. Library remains closed on Sundays and National holidays. Circulation counter will be opened throughout the working hours.
Library Collection
THC Library holds collection of general/text books, reference books, general magazines and periodicals, newspapers etc. in print format apart from its online resources.
Library Membership
All the faculties, staff and students of Tejaswini Hills Campus can be the member of THC library. However, others who are desirous in referring the resources of the library may do so with the permission of the Librarian. Permissions can be refused without assigning any reasons.

Library Services
i. WebOPAC
University library has created web based Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) for book searching. A separate computer terminal has been kept for users to search OPAC within the library and the campus wide access has also been provided.

ii. Circulation Services
Following are the details of the categories of membership and their eligibility for borrowing books.

4. Non-Teaching Staff 2 15 Days
Borrowed books must be returned on or before the due date mentioned. There will be an overdue charge of Rs. .50 per day per book for all other than faculty members.

In order to keep library users abreast of the latest additions and activities, the following current awareness services are provided on regular basis
iv. E-Resources through UGC INFONET
In addition to the availability of books, journals, general magazines and newspapers THC library provides full text electronic journals and databases service subscribed through UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium. Users will be able to access more than 8000 journals and databases from various subjects using this platform within the campus. Wi-Fi enabled campus network also provided to access the e-resources. v. Inter Library Loan Services
THC Library offers Inter Library Loan (ILL) Services to faculties and research scholars from other institutes on request. A written request by the individual user with all the bibliographic details may be submitted to the library in person or email the request to the librarian.
vi. Reprographic Services
THC library provide printing and photocopy services to the users. Members can utilise these reprographic services facility provided inside the Library on payment basis. Charges per copy will be Rs. 1.
vii. Suggestion Box
A drop box has been placed near security check point at the entrance of the THC library. Library users desiring to make any comments, suggestions, grievances, and feedback etc on the activities and services of the library are encouraged to use the services.
viii. Library Blog
An online blog service has been created to keep the THC library community abreast of the latest activities, developments and services of the library.

Library Membership

Library Rules and Regulations
- Being a place known for silent and quiet strict silence should be maintained in the library
- Leave your personal belongings such as bags, personal copies of books, magazines etc at the property counter kept in the entrance
- Always mark your entry and exit in the log book kept at the entrance of the library
- Maintain a queue at circulation counter and photocopy facility
- Avoid using mobile phones inside the library
- Personal reading materials are not allowed inside the library
- Avoid drinking, eating and smoking inside the library
- Users are free to browse through the resources. However the books taken out of the shelves must be put on the reading table.
- Replacing printed resources available on the shelves is not encouraged as it may be misplaced. Misplaced book is a lost book.
- Removing any items including Books, Journals, Magazines, Newspapers from the library without being properly transacted will be a punishable offense
- Transacted materials should be shown to the security guard while exiting from the Library to cross check its transaction.
- Don’t do any kind of marking, underlining, dog-ear marking, writing, tearing of pages etc or damaging Library resources
- Be polite and disciplined in the library
- Have a look frequently at the Library Notice Board
- Use the suggestion/feedback box to drop your comments and suggestions
- Use dustbins provided in the library to keep the library clean
